# Seamind Crew

> Digital crew records — profiles, documents, and certificates, with an office verification workflow

Seamind Crew is the single, trusted record of every seafarer in your organization. Crew members keep their own profile — personal details, identity documents, professional certificates, and experience — and your office confirms that what they've submitted is genuine.

It's the same person, the same login, and the same fleet as [Learn](/learn): the crew member completing training also owns a verified professional record. No re-keying between systems.

**Status: Available.** Crew is enabled per organization. If you don't see crew profiles in your app, contact your account manager or [support@seamind.xyz](mailto:support@seamind.xyz).

## How it fits together

A profile has two kinds of fields:

* **Crew-owned** — personal details, contact info, next-of-kin, documents, certificates, and experience. The crew member edits these.
* **Office-managed** — employment fields such as employee number, position, ship type, and contract group. Crew members can see these but not change them; they read **"Managed by your office."**

Crew members upload their documents and certificates; the office reviews each one and marks it **Approved** or sends it back with a reason. The profile rolls up to a single status — **Incomplete · In Review · Action Needed · Approved** — so everyone knows whose turn it is. See [Verification status](/crew/verification-status).
