# Course Library

> Browse, filter, and sort your assigned courses

Click **Library** in the sidebar to see all your assigned courses.

## Browsing courses

Courses are displayed as cards, grouped by curriculum or assignment. A count shows how many courses match your current filters (e.g., "8 of 10 courses").

## Filtering

Use the filter bar to narrow down your courses:

* **Status** — Overdue, Due Soon, In Progress, Not Started, Completed, Failed
* **Curriculum** — filter by training program
* **Ship** — filter by the vessel from your assignment

Filters combine — selecting Status: Overdue + Ship: "MV Pacific Voyager" shows only overdue courses for that ship.

## Sorting

Choose how courses are ordered:

| Sort option         | What it does                          |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Due Date**        | Soonest due date first                |
| **Status Priority** | Overdue and in-progress courses first |
| **Title A-Z**       | Alphabetical order                    |
| **Title Z-A**       | Reverse alphabetical order            |

## Grid vs List view

You can switch between two layouts:

* **Grid view** — cards arranged in a grid (default on desktop)
* **List view** — compact rows (default on mobile)
