# Taking a Course

> How the course player works — slides, navigation, and progress tracking

When you open a course, Seamind loads it in a full-screen course player.

## The course player

The player takes up the full screen. It shows:

* **Course slides** — the training content, presented one at a time
* **Exit Course** button — top right, returns you to the dashboard

Need a concept explained? Open **Ask Seamind** from the sidebar — see [Ask Seamind](/learn/learner/ai-assistant).

## Working through slides

Navigate through the slides at your own pace. The course player tracks your time spent and progress automatically — you don't need to save manually.

  If you need to leave mid-course, click **Exit Course**. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can pick up where you left off later.
