The AI assistant helps you understand course material while you learn. You can access it in two places.

During a course (sidebar)

When you open a course, the AI chat sidebar appears on the right side of the screen by default. It’s context-aware — it knows which course you’re viewing and can answer questions about that specific content.

Quick actions

The sidebar offers quick action buttons to get you started:
  • Summarize key concepts — get a summary of the current course material
  • Main safety procedures — highlight the important safety points
  • Important takeaways — list the key things to remember
You can also type your own questions in the chat input.

Tips for good questions

  • Be specific: “What are the fire safety protocols for engine rooms?” works better than “Tell me about safety”
  • Ask about the current course content — the AI has context about what you’re studying
  • Ask it to explain something differently if the first answer doesn’t click

Full-page chat

When you’re not in a course, you can access a full-page chat experience:
  1. Click Chat in the sidebar.
  2. A full-page chat opens for general questions.

  • Get Help — ask about platform features or course content
  • Study Tips — get advice on how to prepare for quizzes
