Your profile status
Your profile is always in one of four states:| Status | What it means | Whose turn |
|---|---|---|
| Incomplete | Something required hasn’t been submitted yet | You — add the missing document or certificate |
| In Review | Everything’s submitted; your office is checking it | Office |
| Action Needed | Your office sent something back | You — fix what’s flagged and resubmit |
| Approved | Every required credential is verified | Done |
When more than one could apply, Action Needed always wins — a sent-back item is the clearest next step. The status is shown with your completeness ring at the top of your profile.
Each credential’s status
Behind that overall status, every individual document and certificate carries its own badge:- Approved ✓ — confirmed by your office
- In review ⧖ — submitted, waiting on the office
- Action needed ✕ — sent back with a reason explaining what to fix
- Not submitted — nothing uploaded yet
What happens when you edit an approved item
If you change an already-approved document or certificate — replace the scan, update a number, or change an expiry date — that item automatically returns to In review so the office can confirm the new version. Your other approved items stay approved, and your profile rolls back to In Review until the change is re-checked. Editing something that isn’t part of the review — like a personal note — doesn’t reset anything.Getting to Approved
Fill in your required credentials
Upload your identity documents and certificates. While anything required is missing, your profile is Incomplete.
Wait for review
Once everything’s submitted, your profile moves to In Review and your office checks each item.
Resolve anything sent back
If an item is bounced, your profile shows Action Needed. Open it, read the reason, fix it, and resubmit.
