Your crew profile is your professional record in Seamind. You own it — you fill it in, keep it current, and your office verifies the parts that need confirming. A complete, approved profile means your paperwork is ready before you sign on. Path: Click Profile in the sidebar.

Profile at a glance

The top of your profile shows a completeness ring and your overall verification status. The ring fills in as you complete each section, so you can see what’s left at a glance. Your profile is organized into sections:
SectionWhat it holds
SummaryA snapshot of your profile and what still needs attention
Personal detailsName, date and place of birth, and contact information
DocumentsIdentity documents — passport, visa, seaman’s book, national ID
CertificatesProfessional certificates — STCW, GMDSS, medical, and more
Other detailsOptional information that rounds out your profile
ExperienceYour past employment — ships, ranks, and dates
Assignment historyThe ships you’ve been assigned to in Seamind

Editing your details

Open a section and choose Edit to update it. Personal details, contact information, next-of-kin, documents, certificates, and experience are all yours to maintain.
Keep your contact details and next-of-kin current — your office relies on them, especially in an emergency.

Fields your office manages

Some employment fields — such as your employee number, position, ship type, and contract group — are set by your office. You’ll see them on your profile, but they appear read-only with the note “Managed by your office.” If one of these is wrong, contact your office or crewing department — they can update it for you.

What needs verification

Your identity documents and certificates are reviewed by your office after you upload them. Everything else (personal details, experience) you simply keep accurate — it doesn’t need approval. To upload documents and certificates, see Documents & certificates. To understand the review states, see Verification status.

Assignment history

Your assignment history is read-only — it reflects the ship placements your office creates in Learn. Each entry shows the ship, your role, and your sign-on and sign-off dates. If something looks wrong, raise it with your office.
